Why come evry time I see a picture of black women, age is not really important, in a casual setting, they're always sticking their butts out? I don't get it. Who does this appeal to? Instead of your nice smile, would you rather be known for your big ass? Is that all you have to offer anybody? Why dehumanize yourself that way? WHAT IS REALLY GOOD?

So, Craigalicious made a note on facebook where he wrote a poem using songs. Here are the rules: Put your MP3 player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first 21, songs. The first line is the song title, the next 20 are the poem itself. Now, I ended up doing two because they're fun and I was thinking about posting them, then decided against it for some reason. But, Liz did it and then Synny, so I'mma break down and post mine:

I'm a twin too, and my mom said us that she would put us face to face and we would laugh too. I wonder what they're/we were laughing about. I also wonder how parents can tell their twins apart. With my sister and I, I think it was fairly obvious, but the parents just know, or at least act like they do.


There's something about that enthusiastic "Yeah!" that makes me smile.
